Our company was established in 1992 as an International Sea & Air Freight Forwarder, Project Transportation Specialist, Customs Brokerage Company and developed very fast our activities in these fields. In the relative short time since, the organization has opened branch offices in Bandung, Surabaya, Semarang, Denpasar, Yogyakarta, Solo, Cikarang and Batam which is an island located near Singapore with "Freeport" Facility and has excellent growth prospect.

Despite the economical setback of the last few years that caused a serious "drop" of imported goods, the non-oil product export business was and still is growing, enabling us to handle an average of 1000 containers monthly to/from worldwide ports and inland points. Our NVOCC and Consolidation Division offers weekly consolidation services on major trade-lanes. For some ports even twice or three times per week. With this frequency of consolidation service we are unique in Indonesia.

PT MEKAR CARGO has its own airfreight division. We handle for many years all kind of airfreight shipments and terms like "just-in-time" are known situations to us. Wherever your cargo has to fly to or from, we can arrange it with our own agency network.

Besides the handling of cargo in respect of stuffing and stripping of containers and trucks, we can offer our customers comprehensive LOGISTICS SERVICES. We provide in this division Value Added Logistics Services such as: Packing and Re-packing, Stickering, Inspection of the commodity, Pick & Pack and even Product Configuration and items can be produced or modified. Testing and customizing also pertain to the possibilities after good analysis and agreement. We can appoint in this division a Logistics Manager who will be your Account Manager, Traffic Manager and Forwarder at once.

Over the last decade the sales and deliveries of complete industrial installations have boosted. This creates stringent demands on the forwarder. We have started with Project Forwarding as from the very beginning of our company, building on the expertise of a team with many years of experience in this specific field.
